What is the difference between a Sales Rep and a Regional (Sales) Manager? i.e. Does the RM manage direct reports, has a team of SRs? Asked April 5, 2017
Thanks for your question! A Regional Sales Manager will grow and manage a team of Sales Reps in a specific territory. The management position requires mentoring and coaching, and except for an initial training period, it will not involve direct outside sales. The Sales Rep position is outside sales in an energetic, one call close environment.

I live in a more rural part of the state. Would I still be able to make good money or would a lot more travel be involved? Asked November 3, 2016
Absolutely. An advantage of Dollar General stores is that they're generally concentrated in more rural areas, so there are likely several sales opportunities in your area.

Are there required working hours and could this be done as a part-time job at first? Asked November 3, 2016
This depends on the job type. If it's an independent contractor position, then the position can be part-time. If the job is described as full-time, then while there is flexibility in scheduling, the job requires a full-time commitment.
